This shirt is inspired by the story of Samson, as told in Judges 13-16. Samson was gifted with superhuman strength to protect Israel, and was the last of the judges of Israel before the institution of the monarchy. Samson was betrayed by his lover, Delilah, who cut his hair, breaking his covenant with God and taking away Samson's strength. He was captured and brought into the Philistine temple, where God granted his strength back. Samson pulled down two pillars holding the temple up, killing himself and the rest of the Philistines, freeing the Israelites from their reign.
